Very good app, but needs to be checked for some minor bugs. I have just downloaded the paid version and all the time I try to reset the crosshair the app closes. And when reseting the transparency with an area marked, it also closes. But anyway it is an very good app. Hope they fix it soon.

Sadly no Google Maps usage. Apple Maps coverage in Europe is bad.

I wont ever have a use for calculating the area of anything, but the interface for choosing pin points in this app is really well done. I wanted to calculate distances and this is perfect for the iPad. These guys nailed it. Thanks folks. N

I use this app to measure out rooftops for solar PV systems. Developer is very responsive and I highly recommend this app.

This app works excellent. One suggestion I have is to allow for the cashing of maps. This would allow it to be used for forestry based applications, more easily, when outside of cell reception. Good job.

Works well. Quick to learn. Instructions clear and easily accessible. An internal Apple bug prevents this app being able to include map backgrounds in snapshot with Retina displays (the balls in Apples court) but that does not affect its regular on-screen use. The developer is highly responsive.

Too much for me but appears to do anything you could want

I find it funny that this app is the number one seller on the top of the charts, what Id like to know how and why its at number one with now reviews or downloads. The app work like it says but I feel someone paid to have this at number one

Notice in the ad it states that this app uses Apple Maps. No it doesnt. Its either Google or a default app that is definitely not Apple Maps. Nowhere could I find a way to make Apple Maps active. I like Apple maps and support it so that I do not need to use the data mining Google octopus. So whats up app developer?

Interesting concept, too confusing and a bit buggy. But powerful! Would be cool if you could visually compare sizes of areas. Eg one city to another

Well designed and intuitive, i use it mostly to measure fields in the countryside (argentinean Patagonia). The Satellite maps associated with this extra precise measure tool simplifies my work in a way i could not even dream of. Really a great job!
